As a church body, we sense an urgent need to reach out and more personally minister to the growing number of families that attend our church. We are witnessing exciting growth, a wonderful blessing, but one that is accompanied by the challenge to love, meet the needs of and include each new person as a part of our family. Wonderful services, good programs, a smoothly running organizational structure, and even plenty of friendly greetings and hugs (as important as these things are), do not target this area of personal need. As we respond family to family, extending friendship and fellowship on a personal level, we will be able to see, hear and feel the hearts of those with whom we worship. So begins one of the greatest and most rewarding ministries of our church and individual lives. These groups meet on various days throughout the month, usually on Sunday evenings, and information about groups in your area can be found in the foyer of the church.
 

Various homes around our area have been specifically chosen to host small groups. Our small groups meet in three geographical areas because they coincide with the three main locations where our church families live. These areas are:

• Gig Harbor
• Port Orchard
• Key Peninsula

Childcare will be provided in at least one home in each area.
 

The format of each home group will be similar. 

A simple meal that everyone in the group helps to provide

A time of fun and fellowship

An informal time of teaching (the subject and type of study will be chosen by the group   according to their interests)

A time of sharing and prayer to close each group meeting
 

Our desire and prayer is that each of you finds the friendship, support, encouragement, and a greater understanding of God’s word and ways that come from experiencing God’s “one-another” principles.
